About Me.
As a Taiwanese immigrant in America, I am privileged to be fluent in both English and Mandarin. Always interested in technology, I entered robotic competitions in high school where my club mates build the robot and I programmed the controls. Long time engineer, I have 6 years of experience in consumer products Test Engineering. From an individual contributor, to team leader, to Engineering Manager, my career taught me to be user first and quality focused. As a MBA candidate at UCLA Anderson School of Management, I expanded my skill set into business. Now I am an aspiring product manager and entrepreneur. I want to create products that help people, benefit people, and change people's lives.

Test Engineering Manager

Identified commonalities in audio testing amongst other Google teams and created a PRD for a universal audio validation tool for any team to send recorded files for processing and results reporting.

Devised multiple collaboration partnerships to develop common infrastructures. Partnerships resulted in 100% less duplicate efforts, and an increase in mutual beneficial tooling for both teams to use.

Defined tooling strategies and roadmap with partner team, considering stakeholders as the customers, we created standardized test results dashboard and tests that simplified feature reporting process and sped up the feature development process.
Test Engineer III & Software Test Team Lead

Led a software test team of 14 members to 2 product launches and 4 maintenance software launches

Designed features testing roadmaps and strategies with other first party Google devices and software teams, resulting in better collaborations in integration test coverage and reduced duplicate work in testing.

Established Pixel buds Bluetooth test strategy and product quality expectations based on historical bugs data and KPI definitions. Led to 50% more Bluetooth automation tests coverage and more accurate KPI data capture.

A11 is a Fashion AI Platform that digitalizes the shopping experience and the fashion industry. My role on the project is CEO. I pitched my idea to the class, recruited members, and explained my vision. We conducted market and industry expert research, competitor research, and technical feasibility research. EveryRecipe is a recipe related app that improves users' cooking experiences. My role on the project is the technical lead. We created a pitch deck including the idea, vision, problem statement, market analysis, value proposition, unit economics, income forecast, product roadmap, and financials. I helped with establishing high level technical feasibility and financial forecast for R&D. Also contributed to coming up with the business model.

Product Critique
Mint
The product critique assignment is based on the Mint app. I identified the goals, user segments, user pain points, and weakness of the app. Then I recommended Mint to add personalized dashboard. I believe the core users, people who are interested in being more financially literate, use the application to check their financial health. The current dashboard had too much information that made learning daunting. I also came up with metrics such as DAU and number of dashboard cards used, etc, to measure success of the product adoption and retention.

Internet Service
New project in the greater Chinese market class. The goal is to identify a new internet service product for the Chinese market. We will come up with a product with deep analysis regarding the market situation, technology feasibility, possible regulations hurdles, go-to-market strategy, and finances. Stay tuned!
